Being an a young black women, born and raised in a world where I didn't have to fight to go to school, or struggle with the use of public transportation or public facilities.... I thank you Dr. King... your faith, courage and strength will always be admired... You did the work the Lord called you to do.. and you served him well... Your dream has come true ... and hopefully we will all continue to strive for unity and unconditional love. God knew what he was doing.. when he put this call in your heart... may he bless me as he has blessed you so that i may be able to make a difference in the lives of the young and old around me. Jesus a true model of who I should aim to be.. but I am proud to find in you a true man of God, that has inspired myself as well as many blacks, whites .... around the world. Lots of love- ~Becky~

Martin Luther King was a great guy. He looked a bit like Will Smith who is also a great guy. There are a few differences though because Martin Luther King was a rights activist and Will Smith is an actor.

Supporters of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. may be interested to know that Bo Diddley, one of the founding fathers of rock & roll and the popularizer of the world-famous "Bo Diddley beat", has announced that he will be launching his new website and online store this coming Thanksgiving. The website, which with typical idiosyncrasy he has named "Bo Bo Diddley's Turnup Root", is located at http://www.turnup-root.com/

In conjunction with his new website, Bo Diddley is currently also shaping up to release CDs of both brand new recordings as well as a series of exciting limited edition collectors' CDs of previously unreleased archive material recorded in his various home studios during the past 40 years. Right now, visitors to his website can shop online at Bo Diddley's Online Store powered by CafePress.com and purchase a range of cool-looking and exclusive limited edition items including T-shirts and sweatshirts.

He was simple murdered by whites who thought they could silence the black race.I am happy that in some time to come, the black race will come out stronger in everyway. We survived slavery,Aparthied,Colonial times,We must survive the AIDS epidemy which exists now in African continent. We know it was designed to destroy the black population. The motives of this evil doers will never come to fruition. We the African people MUST one day pay this white people in their own coin.We will never, ever forget and we will never forgive.

MAKE THOUSANDS WITH ONLY 6 BUCKS!!! THIS IS NOT A SCAM!!! Original post: A while back, I was browsing these newsgroups, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of CASH within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00 plus stamps! So I thought, "Yeah, right, this must be a scam!" But like most of us I was curious and kept reading. It said that if you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and addresses listed in the article, you could make thousands in a very short period of time. You then place your own name and address at the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article to at least 300 newsgroups. (There are about 32,000 of them out there and that's quite a large market pool). No catch, that was it. Even though the investment was a measly $6, I had three questions that needed to be answered before I could get involved in this sort of thing. 1. IS THIS REALLY LEGAL? I called a lawyer first. The lawyer was a little skeptical that I would actually make any CASH but he said it WAS LEGAL if I wanted to try it. I told him it sounded a lot like a chain letter but the details of the system (SEE BELOW) actually made it a legitimate legal business. 2. IS OK WITH THE POST OFFICE OR IS IT MAIL FRAUD? I called them: 1-800-725-2161 and they confirmed THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! (See 18, h sections1302 NS 1341 of Postal Lottery Laws). This clarifies the program of collecting names and addresses for a mailing list. 3. IS IT RIGHT? Well, everyone who sends me a buck has a good chance of getting A LOT of CASH ... a much better chance than buying a lottery ticket!!! So, having these questions answered, I invested EXACTLY $7.92 ... six $1.00 bills and six 32 cent postage stamps ... and boy am I glad I did!!! Within 7 days, I started getting CASH in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon and didn't give it another thought. But the CASH continued coming in. In my first week I made between $20 to $30. By the end of the second week I had a made a total of $1,000.00. In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it was still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000 and it's still coming in ..... It's certainly worth $6.00 and 6 stamps !!! Also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it. I promise you that if you follow the directions exactly, that you will start making more CASH than you thought possible by doing something so easy! Suggestion: Read this entire message carefully! (print it out or download it.) Follow the simple directions and watch the CASH come in! It's easy. It's legal. And, your investment is only $6.00 (Plus postage) IMPORTANT: This is not a rip-off; it is not indecent; it is not illegal; and it is virtually no risk - it really works!!!! If all of the following instructions are adhered to, you will receive extraordinary dividends. PLEASE NOTE: Please follow these directions EXACTLY, and $50,000 or more can be yours in 20 to 60 days. This program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants. Please continue its success by carefully adhering to the instructions. You will now become part of the Mail Order business. In this business your product is not solid and tangible, it's a service. You are in the business of developing Mailing Lists. Many large corporations are happy to pay big bucks for quality lists. However, the CASH made from the mailing lists is secondary to the income which is made from people like you and me asking to be included in that list. Here are the 4 easy steps to success: STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST." Now get 6 US $1.00 bills and place ONE inside EACH of the 6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope (to prevent thievery). Place one paper in each of the 6 envelopes and seal them. You should now have 6 sealed envelopes, each with a piece of paper stating the above phrase, your name and address, and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a service. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! You are requesting a legitimate service and you are paying for it! Like most of us I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal! Mail the 6 envelopes to the following addresses:

#1) Richard A. Dunbar 20029 Ingomar Street Canoga Park, CA 91306

#2)S.F.A. P.O. Box 1017 Manhasset, N.Y. 11030

#3) David Gilbert P.O. Box 6632 Dahlonega, GA 30597

#4) YNP White Productions 7201 Friendship Road Clinton, MD 20735

#5)Wesley Woodrow 1714 Tower Grove Missouri, TX 77489

#6)E.MOORE P.O. BOX 6241 FORTWAYNE, IN 46896

STEP 2: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc...) and add YOUR Name as number 6 on the list. STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 300 newsgroups. (I think there are close to 32,000 groups) All you need is 300, but remember, the more you post, the more CASH you make! This is perfectly legal! If you have any doubts, refer to 18 Sec. 1302 & 1341 of the Postal lottery laws. Keep a copy of these steps for yourself and, whenever you need CASH, you can use it again, and again. PLEASE REMEMBER that this program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants and by their carefully adhering to the directions. Look at it this way. If you are a person of integrity, the program will continue and the CASH that so many others have received will come your way. NOTE: You may want to retain every name and address sent to you, either on a computer or hard copy and keep the notes people send you. This VERIFIES that you are truly providing a service. (Also, it might be a good idea to wrap the $1 bill in dark paper to reduce the risk of mail theft.) So, as each post is downloaded and the directions carefully followed, six members will be reimbursed for their participation as a List Developer with one dollar each. Your name will move up the list geometrically so that when your name reaches the #1 position you will be receiving thousands of CASH in CASH!!! What an opportunity for only $6.00 ($1.00 for each of the first six people listed above) Send it now, add your own name to the list and you're in business! ---DIRECTIONS ----- FOR HOW TO POST TO NEWSGROUPS Step 1) You do not need to re-type this entire letter to do your own posting. Simply put your cursor at the beginning of this letter and drag your cursor to the bottom of this letter, and select 'copy' from the edit menu. This will copy the entire letter into the computer's memory. Step 2) Open a blank 'notepad' file and place your cursor at the top of the blank page. From the 'edit' menu select 'paste'. This will paste a copy of the letter into notepad so that you can add your name to the list. Step 3) Save your new notepad file as a .txt file. If you want to do your postings in different settings, you'll always have this file to go back to. Step 4) Use Netscape or Internet explorer and try searching for various newsgroups (on-line forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions.) Step 5) Visit these message boards and post this article as a new message by highlighting the text of this letter and selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the Subject, this will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a particular group, click the post message button. You're done with your first one! Congratulations...THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post away, after you get the hang of it, it will take about 30 seconds for each newsgroup! **REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS YOU POST IN, THE MORE CASH YOU WILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO POST A MINIMUM OF 300** That's it! You will begin receiving CASH from around the world within days! You may eventually want to rent a P.O.Box due to the large amount of mail you will receive. If you wish to stay anonymous, you can invent a name to use, as long as the postman will deliver it. **JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT.** Now the WHY part: Out of 300 postings, say I receive only 7 replies (a very low example). So then I made $7.00 with my name at #6 on the letter. Now, each of the 7 persons who just sent me $1.00 make the MINIMUM 300 postings, each with my name at #5 and only 7 persons respond to each of the 7 original 7, that is another $49.00 for me, now those 49 each make 300 MINIMUM posts with my name at #4 and only 7 replies each, I will bring in an additional $343.00! Now, those 343 persons turn around and post the MINIMUM 300 with my name at #3 and only receive 7 replies each, I will make an additional $2401.00! OK, now here is the fun part, each of those 2401 persons post a MINIMUM 300 letters with my name at #2 and they each only receive 7 replies, that just made me $16,807.00!!! Those 16807 persons will all deliver this message to 300 newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still 7 persons per 300 Newsgroups react I will receive $117,649.00! With an original investment of only $6.00! And some stamps. AMAZING! When your name is no longer on the list, you just take the latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another $6.00 to names on the list, putting your name at number 6 again. And start posting again. The thing to remember is: do you realize that thousands of people all over the world are joining the internet and reading these articles everyday? JUST LIKE YOU are now!! So, can you afford $6.00 and see if it really works?? I think so... People have said, "what if the plan is played out and no one sends you the CASH? So what! What are the chances of that happening when there are tons of new honest users and new honest people who are joining the internet and newsgroups everyday and are willing to give it a try? Estimates are at 20,000 to 50,000 new users, every day, with thousands of those joining the actual internet. Remember, play FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will really work. ** By the way, if you try to deceive people by posting the messages with your name in the list and not sending the CASH to the rest of the people already on the list, you will NOT get as much. Someone I talked to knew someone who did that and he only made about $150.00, and that's after seven or eight weeks! Then he sent the 6 $1.00 bills, people added him to their lists, and in 4-5 weeks he had over $10k. This is the fairest and most honest way I have ever seen to share the wealth of the world without costing anything but our time!!! You also may want to buy mailing and e-mail lists for future CASH. Make sure you print this article out RIGHT NOW! Also, try to keep a list of everyone that sends you CASH and always keep an eye on the newsgroups to make sure everyone is playing fairly. Remember, HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. You don't need to cheat the basic idea to make the CASH!! GOOD LUCK to all and please play fairly and reap the huge rewards from this, which is tons of extra CASH. Please remember to declare your extra income. Thanks once again... "People have asked me if this is really legal. Well, it is! You are using the Internet to advertise your business. What is that business? You are creating a mailing list of people who are interested in home based computer and online business and methods of generating income at home. Remember, people send you a small fee to be added to your mailing list. It is legal what will you do with your list of thousands of names? That's up to you." So, build your mailing list, keep good accounts, declare the income and pay your taxes. By doing this you prove your business intentions. Keep an eye on the newsgroups and when the cash has stopped coming (that means your name is no longer on the list), you just take the latest posting at the newsgroups, send another $6.00 to the names stated on the list, make your corrections (put your name at #6) and start posting again. NOTES: *1. In some countries, the export of the country's exchange is illegal. But you can get the license to do this from the post office, explaining the above statements (that you have an online business, etc. You may have to pay an extra tax, but that's OK, the amount of the incoming CASH is HUGE! And as I said, a few countries have that restriction . *2. You may want to buy mailing and e-mail lists for future CASH. (Or Database or Spreadsheet software.) *3. If you're really not sure or still think this can't be for real, please print a copy of this article and give it to someone who really needs the CASH, and see what happens. *4. You will start getting responses within 1-2 weeks, it depends. ***ALSO REMEMBER*** SEND YOUR $1 OUT TO EVERYONE ON THE LIST, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT FROM THE U.S. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? $$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!!$$$!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I learn about about the montgomery bus boycott, the march on washington, his life, and i've seen the promised land.i mean that everyone of us had to make a world a better place, that all we need is a dream and the cost to make it happen.dr.king's courage is about the power of one, that each of us-- every man, women, and kid-- have the power to effect a change in everyone we touch.he,s about what's right for everybody of every color because dr.king's about equality for humanity.whites and negroes go to different schools, and the negroes have to walk.a man has no greater purpose... than to serve his fellow man.first understand the problem, then figure out the solution.mahatma gandhi drove the british out of india by standing his ground peacefully. Dr.king:"When you have to concoct an answer for a 5-year-old son who is asking,"daddy, why do white people treat colored people so mean?" and you are humiliated day in and day out by nagging signs reading "white" and "colored", your middle name becomes "boy" however old you are... your wife and mother are never given the respected title "mrs.,"and you are hired by day and haunted by night by the fact that you are a negro, living constantly at tiptoe stance, not quite knowing what to expect next, and are plagued with inner fears and outer resentments, and you are forever fighting a degrading and degenerating sense of nobody-ness,then you will understand."and last but not lest, martin did things that changed this country and people's lives.he helped people understand tat it was in their power to help change ideas and laws.without martin and the civil rights movement, who's know what would've happend?

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an inspirational, helpful, dedicated, wonderful person. I am of the Caucasian race, but I respect everything he did to help free blacks in their fight for freedom. I think it unjust to judge anyone on the color of their skin, their morals and values, their handicaps, their weaknesses, or their sexual preference. I hope his incredible message is passed from generation to generation--not only the descriptive, amazing words, but the meaning behind them. "My dream is that one day my four little children will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."-Dr. M.L.K., Jr. August, 1963

Dr. Martin Luther King was a inspiration to us all, and because of him I am able to stand tall and fight for what I believe. He along with the grace of god has given me the strenght to live another day, fight another battle, and see another tomorrow. But this battle can only be fought if we as a people come togther. We don't have to love/like one another but this battle will never be won if we don't respect each other. Instead of turnig the other way in grief lets walk the same way with pride. We must as one honor those who have given their lives for us to be free, and now we must do the same to stay free. In loving memory of Dr. Matrin Luther King Jr. and those who walked the long road beside him

Hello! I just wanted to say that in our town we have a march of our own to acknowledge and to celebrate the famous March on Washington; I have only been to this march once, but I will always remember taking part in it. In my opinion, racial harmony was, is, and will always be very important; with the recent backlash against the Arab-American people, racial harmony is still very much important for every single race of people. On January 15th I always remember that it is Dr. King's birthday, and I always do something to acknowledge Dr. King on the also important day of January 21st. Because I didn't have a computer until February 2001, and because I wasn't on the Internet until April 2001, I hadn't the oppportunity to post a message of any kind and so I decided to take that opportunity today. Thank you for allowing me to do so!

I want to thank the family of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., because without the things and speeches that he made, we as blacks or should I say african-americans would not be as free as we are today. There is still hatred going on in this world because of the ku klux klans and others like them, but we are allowed to voice our opinions because we have the freedom of speech as people now, and not as slaves who belong in Africa as they would say. People need to wake up though, because it was GOD who created us all and they have to be one day be judged by HIM and it's not going to be a pretty sight. God made no mistake when he created us, but due to Adam and Eve's sin we all have to go through certain things. GOD looks at the heart and not the skin color. There is such a place called HELL and it's real. People need to think about where their life is with GOD and want to know more about HIM, so they won't be burning in hell for eternity. Thanks for being so strong, and keeping hope alive.

a man of great pleasure. decrete in depression. He held a modest form of speaking and was a strong minded man. He had strong values in life and taught us to love all. So, how come, in this world today, we still have hatred today. Hasn't the past told us anything about the future. My saying is similar to Dr. Kings when he says "I want all my brothers and sisters, rether it be black or white to live in harmony." Well my saying is "A shark will only bite you once, but a cat will scratch you twice." Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King for all you've done for me and the way this world thinks today.

I believe that folks in the world may sametimes forget the transformation of Dr. King from 1965-1968 when his focus shifter towards the war on poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, and the war on the white house's policy in the Vietnam War. Don't forget his last battle in Memphis. I suggest reading and/or listening/watching his last Sunday sermon in the national cathedral in late March 1968. Just go to the library

Hi This is Travis Janes , I read a lot about what happend a long time ago, one thing I can not figure out how could America let KKK get a way the stuff they use todo to the AfroAmericans! The stuff they use todo was really bad and you Know America should tell all the AfroAmericans that they are sorry for what happend too them and try too make up for what happend a long time ago! I have read a lot about Dr Martin Luther king Jr , He was A great man if he ran for President he would get my vote everytime cause,He stood up for his rights and the Afro Americans rights too! I think he was trying make everything right, Cause just because thier skin color was different dosent give any body the right too do what the KKK did and you know I have know respect for people like that , Cause I have a lot of respect for the Afro Americans ,they have been throught a lot as people and they maid it this Far. If I president back all this racial stuff was happening I would put all the in the KKK in Jail for warcrimes , cause if you think America is going to go after these guys in other countiers for Killing innocent people would,nt you think the same for The KKK too or is America trying to cover up what happend in the past and just let these people who was really sick and kill a lot of innocent people just because the color of thier skin! If America going to go after these other guys in different countiers for killing innocent people, then why is America going too let the KKK get a way with what they did! I have no respect for the KKK and I do not like people like that at all. I belive in god and I rather be like Dr Martin lutherking Jr. cause he was just trying too make everything they it should have been a long time ago, and make it safe for his kids to go outside and play and for his too have the same rights that the whites had! The Reason why I am intersested in all of this is because somebody did something that was really wrong too me and so ,I half to be just like Dr Martin luther king Jr And fight for my rights and the person that did this too me, should tell me he is sorry cause I am human too and you know, one that really makes me mad is that everybody in the hole world thinks that I do not like people because the color of thier skin it is not true and it was not never true you, someday I will get him back, If I do not god will and If iwas him I would start praying for god forgivness cause like they say what goes around comes around when does ,happen I will not feel sad for him I be hay thats life for you just, Like I almost died and he didnt care at all !

Hi my name is Travis Janes and Dr Martin luther kingJr is one of my heros I look up too him cause he took a stand a long time ago , he fought for his rights and his people rights, he had too be real brave to do what he did, I have a lot of respect for him . I was not a live back when he was but I have read some a lot about him and you know I wish I could be like that ! I think it was wrong what the KKK did too the black people , they should have never done that and sometimes I think the African Americans ,they should have the right too do the same thing the KKK did too them. That should be fair my point of view, I read what happend a long time ago and you know some of the stuff the kkk did was wrong too this day I can not belive they got away that stuff! I am on the african American side . My point of is that you should treat people they way you like too be treated! .I think everbody is created equal no matter what color your skin is. And if Ievery get the chance too be like Dr Martin king Jr , I would cause things he did was incrdible, Travis Janes 10-6-01, My speech may not be like Dr martin luther king s but , I have a lot more practice too go!

Bonjour! He knew that there were no "sides", it only being a delusion. I agree with what M.L.K. knew to be true, in his soul, we do have to help others to redefine progress for themselves, from the technocracies' definition of it as, patriarchal, hierarchal, power defined as premeditated mass-murder orientated, survival driven, linear and simplistic gradation to a wholistic, holistic, balanced, alival and abundance orientated, evolutionary one. This is most readily done by turning 360 degrees from our present direction of devolution, back to the future and the evolution; unhumancentrically, organically, somatically, individually, communally, socially, fraternally, thoughtfully, actively, consciously, religiously, and globally! We've been in the evolutionary crossroads, if you will, for years now. Yet, it's not too late to stop the convolution's direction of devolution's real deficits they've determined from their delusional profits and delusional pleasures; that being the extinction of humanity and large mammals racing towards us from the future. If we hold the line, to the point before the premeditated mass-earth-murder becomes irreversible, we can realize our species existence; irregardless of all their delusions of premeditated mass-murder as power, etc. :)

The delusion that destruction, division, separation, mechanization, scarcity, information, manipulation, necrophilia, domination, murder, death, devolution, premeditated mass-murder, degradation, deprivation, nihlistic narcissism, extinction, are power can only be dispelled by the reality that growth, actuation, actualization, potential realizing, biophilia, abhaya, nurturance, evolution, knowledge, adundance, love, sacrifice, unity, life, grace, are reality.

Viva la evolution, viva green party! Copy and share as you will. Enjoy an estival eve'. i look forward...

Matutinally Yours,

james m nordlund

I am a young lady and I know that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. done a lot to help blacks in the struggle they had to face coming up. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in my eye sight is a HERO... I wish that young black people today can come together and stop fighting amongs each other and start fighting for each other. Young black men especially; need to realize that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. died because he was aganist violence and for equal rights for blacks. Black men today can not begin to understand the hard times that we as blacks had to face coming up, even though I have never had to experience racisim but I know that it was very real and wheather we want to believe it or not it is still going on today. I just hate that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was kill for nothing.

As a vocal advocate of peace and love everywhere I go, I have the utmost respect for Dr. King. I may only be 17 years of age, but I have read his letter from Birmingham Jail, and I have studied his cause for as long as I can remember. I choose to work on behalf of this cause because I know it is the right thing to do. I don't want my friends and relatives to grow up in a world of hate, violence, and greed. I believe humans have the capability to change themselves for the better and to become a compassionate race. This is what I strive to achieve for myself and for everyone else who shares this planet with me.

On March 31, 2001 at around 2 a.m., my brother was doing something he had no business doing. After running from police officers he attempted to hide in someone’s backyard. The police found him, handcuffed him and tied his feet together. Witnesses heard my brother telling the police officers that he was down and had surrendered. Then witnesses watched as the police picked up my brother, moving him to the back of the house, where they then proceeded to beat him until he was dead.

The American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU, has not decided whether or not to take this case-their main concern being they might not get back the court costs. I will never get my brother back. I am asking you to please help with a donation to contribute to the cost of a lawsuit against the City of Austin and the eight police officers who took my brother’s life.

I know you don’t know me. My name is Roland F. Scott and I live in Austin, Texas. Please help my family and my brother Steven’s daughter and new granddaughter.

I would like to say that I really admire what Dr. martin Luther King Jr. went through for "blacks" and I still don't like how people have labels, but through his letter from inside the Birmingham jail cell i felt a part of the movement and I felt that I was actually there. If he were still alive I would thank him personally for saving "blacks" and other races of people. I can't imagine my "black" cousins being picked on and me being treated greatly just because we were different colors. They would still be my cousins and I would probably go to their schools and show everyone how similar they are. after all we all are only human and can't help what we look like. Sincerely, Megan T. I am who I am, but others choose to see me as someone I am not. I am sorry that I see things as only in black and white. The gray area makes no sense to me. It never has, and it never will be. I do what I have to do To get to where I have to go. And by the grace of God, I will do it the right way and not for the wrong, because I know no one will do it for me. And I pray, that I don’t do it alone.

It is not a crime that I have ambition and I only want the best. If not for me, but for my son. Because one way or another, It’s always about the C.R.E.A.M.* Some deny it and think it doesn’t matter. Some believe that is the only thing that counts. But what is certain, is that everything is everything. So at times, I may not see the whole picture, I do know the end result. Peace within... And how you walk through the fire does count. Because without struggle, there is no progress.

He said he may not be there when we get there, but I will reach The Promised Land.

In May of this year, Rev Carter of the Ebeneezer International Chapel at Morehouse College will be enshrining an oil portrait of the infamous cult leader, Daisaku Ikeda, on the "Wall of Fame" side by side with MLK and other celebrated Afrcan Americans. Ikeda is the leader of Soka gakkai, a Japanese cult that has been exposed time and time again by TIME, Newsweek, BBC news, San Francisco Chronicle, LA Times, etc, for their intolerant, illegal, and sometimes violent behavior. Currently, the US Congress is investigating the Soka gakkai Cult for their involvement in illegally gaining access to the US National Crime Computer database. Please see their report: http://www.house.gov/reform/hearings/07.27.00/felonies_and_favors.htm We must not allow the image of the great MLK to be tarnished with such a group as this. Rev Carter has accepted a large monetary gift in exchange for giving Daisaku Ikeda the privilege of being honored on the same level as MLK. Rev Carter has been gifted all-expense-paid trips to Japan by the Soka Gakkai, and this has all been reported on the front page of the cult's newspaper, "The World Tribune."

For more information on the Soka Gakkai / SGI cult, please see: http://news.sg-eye.com

I was moved by him. I think that what he said was awesome because the point that he made was absolutley right. I mean why would you want to spend your whole life making sure everyone hates each other. And as for the KKK I have 1 thing to say. there is a law that says there is a freedom of speech but there is no law that says there is a freedom to beat. I am sure that tons of people had said this already but I just thought that for what its worth I might add it.

I am sure that tons of people had said this already but I just thought that for what its worth I might say that.

To a man who was ahead of his time, who lived for the oppressed, who mirrored the work of Christ, I say thank you Lord. As a teacher of the youth of today I will attempt to put his message across in the hope that the world will become a better place.

I am writing you because I have been a victim of a hate crime, just because some people do not like someone because thier skin color is different and they call them selves the kkk. I never wanted to be in this group and I am sick and tierd of these people follwing me around right know if I had a gun I would shoot these people ! Cause I think it dosent matter what color your skin is it's whats in your heart. We are created equal no matter what color your skin is! But these people want to bring me down with them but I will not let them! Cause it is wrong what they did too me ! And I want too get them back for what they are doing too me! When I was young I had a lot of black friends and if you do not belive me you can ask them! I never wanted to be in this group! I like somebody too take these people out for me! By Travis J!

Have you ever been a victim of a Hate crime ? I have been and I am really mad about it, cause it is wrong to say some body is in a racial group and you never was in it! See some body said I was in a group called the KKK! And I did not even know it until a friend of mine told me! I am really pissed off about it. I had too throw away all of my white clothes and I half to wear, my Vince carter jersey everyday! Just to prove everybody wrong! And I can not eat certain foods! It is wrong to do that too some body! Who ever did this too me should die because he is the one who is prejudice and not me! When I grew up I had a lot of black friends! It is wrong to do this to some body! Travis Janes

None of our words can explain the pride and love Dr. King accomplished from a dream and vision. He accepted all, those who were willing to make his dream come to reality and even who wouldn't dare accept him or his people. We love and respect Dr. kings courage and the ability to be loved by all of us. with lot's of Love and hope, Anita Estrada!
